We thought Linkin Park's, 'Numb', fit perfectly to describe how he had gone from a person who only cared about gathering magical cards to becoming someone who assists his rival and become someone who likes her.

In the AMV, we wanted to make Li Syaoran come across as finding himself as losing direction if he allowed this female rival of his break through his defences. Everytime the female rival caught him off guard, his internal alarm kicked in and alerted him to leave. He ultimately loses to the care that he isn't able to deny himself of having for this female rival of his and he gives into the tiring work of fighting his emotions and accepts her.
