<\/a><\/div>\n<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\nWon Deuk says he believes his memory returned in Episode 5<\/a>. Not really. Standing so close and her holding his hand made him feel uncomfortable. Why? Because his heart (or rather his body as he says) remembers her. His mind, still has no memory. Like a true, caring husband, Won Deuk leaves Hong Shim to go after Ma Chil. He uses his knowledge of the law and criminal charges to warn Ma Chil to leave Hong Shim alone and never threaten to sell her again because of his debt, else (we\u2019re guessing) he\u2019ll bring him in with it.<\/p>\n Hong Shim run into Seok Ha whilst Won Deuk is out dealing with Ma Chil. Seok Ha denies being her brother, but Hong Shim manages to confirm he is her brother by testing his swordsmanship. The reunion lasts only long enough for a hug and yet another promise from Seok Ha that he will find her once he\u2019s finished with what he has to do, before he leaves her behind once more.<\/p>\n The servant closest to the Crown Prince, Eunuch Yang, shows up at the wake of the Crown Prince, to everyone\u2019s surprise. He was supposed to be at the rain ritual where he should have died along with the Crown Prince it seems. Eunuch Yang mourns the Crown Prince\u2019s death, believing the body at the wake to be the Crown Prince\u2019s, but the nails which were supposed to be neatly manicured weren\u2019t has him thinking something’s off.<\/p>\n Won Deuk is preoccupied with who that man he saw Hong Shim hug. Who could he be to make her get a fever and become so lethargic?<\/p>\n Won Deuk is so troubled by the mystery man, he calls Gu Dol out in the middle of the night to see if Gu Dol could tell him anything. He tells him Hong Shim had a few men after her, but she never so much as smile at any of them. Kkyeut Nyeo didn\u2019t even know she was bethrothed to Won Deuk let alone was dating someone for several years.<\/p>\n Gu Dol tells Won Deuk he has nothing to worry about as she is his wife and he is her husband. All he has to do is apparently sweep her off her feet, please her well so she isn\u2019t distracted. Won Deuk returns with a bunch of flowers. Had he picked some nice ones which dogs don\u2019t use as toilets, maybe Hong Shim would have liked them, but she dares not touch them. Won Deuk\u2019s pretty disgusted, too, when Hong Shim tells her about the flowers. Aw, another fail for Won Deuk. : o( : o(.<\/p>\n Won Deuk leans into Hong Shim looking like he wants to kiss her and is disappointed when she looks away. He reveals later to her dad that he didn\u2019t intend to kiss her. He just wanted to confirm his thoughts by reading her gaze. With Hong Shim looking away, it seems he thinks it\u2019s proof there were no feelings between them like she claims. He\u2019s the only one with feelings.<\/p>\n Eunuch Yang tells Vice Premier about the neat nails, and how because of that he believes the body is not the Crown Prince\u2019s, thinking the Vice Premier is there to help him. After confirming no one else has heard about what the eunuch had said, the Vice Premier slits Eunuch Yang\u2019s throat to silence him. Jung Jae Yoon arrives a little too late to find out what it is that had led to Eunuch Yang\u2019s imprisonment.<\/p>\n The Queen is worried about the curse she put on the Crown Prince and Princess and orders her maid to find it. Near the end of the episode, indeed, she is suspected of being behind the assassination.<\/p>\n Won Deuk uses his skills to help villagers, reading contracts, interpreting contracts and getting out of them or buy them more time. With Won Deuk being in such high demand and being viewed as a totally useful, amazing and brilliant man, Hong Shim\u2019s happier than ever.<\/p>\n Won Deuk minds the house and is told to wait for the man he still believes is her lover to turn up. Meanwhile, Hong Shim is out hunting for the extinct Sabre Fur which the magistrate is demanding they find to present as an offering to the King. Hong Shim makes sure Won Deuk isn\u2019t left starving. She had young Meok Goo bring him a little rice parcel. How sweet! She might not have feelings for Won Deuk (not yet), but she has him in her thoughts!<\/p>\n About the scene which has Park Bok Eun show up at Hong Shim and Won Deuk\u2019s place to tell them and the line of villagers to head to the mountain to find the fur, Won Deuk does his funny start-up thoughts\/opinions before stopping mid-sentence again. Hong Shim speaks badly of the King, saying the King is incompetent and greedy. That has Won Deuk jump to defend that the King isn\u2019t like that, but stop there, not quite sure what he wanted to say. Haha.<\/p>\n What\u2019s more, seeming as Won Deuk sounded so much like he knew the King personally, Park Bok Eun challenges Won Deuk to get the King down personally and find the fur following that. If only Park Bok Eun knew. Won Deuk doesn\u2019t only know him personally, the King is his father!<\/p>\n Won Deuk purposefully leaves out the fact the tall, handsome man who visited was just someone who wanted him to read a book, causing Hong Shim to drink away her sorrows. Won Deuk reveals his troubled thoughts about her having fallen in love with another man, which has Hong Shim finally reveal the man to be her brother and the insufferable feeling of wanting to see him so desperately. She thinks Won Deuk doesn’t understand, but he says he does. He\u2019s referring to not being able to see Yoon Yi Seo. With his memory lost, he of course doesn\u2019t know who it is he feels this way about let alone Hong Shim being that person, but he can relieve that pain: she\u2019s right in front of him!<\/p>\n Anyway, learning it\u2019s not a lover she\u2019s missing but her brother has him smile and permits her to hold his hand since she needed some comforting. Only a strong, independent girl like Hong Shim\/Yoon Yi Seo could reject the hands of a Crown Prince. It\u2019s true she doesn\u2019t know his true identity, but if she knew, she\u2019d probably respond the same. From the beginning, Lee Yul liked Yoon Yi Seo first. It looks like it\u2019s happened the same way with Won Deuk and Hong Shim. We cannot wait to see Hong Shim start liking Won Deuk, which there\u2019s a teeny tiny sign of it when she sent him off to pretend to be a noblewoman\u2019s lover.<\/p>\n Jung Jae Yoon\u2019s continues to try solve that riddle Lee Yul left him, leading him to sneak into the Crown Princess\u2019 courtyard and is caught by a maid.<\/p>\n Won Deuk attempts to learn to twist straw. He just can\u2019t get the hang of it and asks Hong Shim to show him, which Hong Shim does by sandwiching his hands in between hers and starts showing him how to twist. Won Deuk\u2019s gaze isn\u2019t on the task anymore after that. It\u2019s on her. Hong Shim doesn\u2019t notice the little distance between them until she looks up, and well, notices. She backs away as if staying any longer with his gaze directly looking into her eyes might make her uncomfortable in an exposing kind of way.<\/p>\n Won Deuk\u2019s brains was making her money, but with a noblewoman wanting to hire Won Deuk to pose as her lover, Won Deuk\u2019s looks are making her money, too. For the job, she offers to pay as much as they want. The amount settled is 20 yang. That takes care of two-thirds their 30-yang debt.<\/p>\n Hong Shim seems willing to loan him off for the 20 yang and even asks him to do whatever the noblewoman wants him to do to the job done, but the conviction isn’t as strong as usual. Still she confirms she wants him to go even after he gives her two opportunities to retract her words. When she goes and returns home, she worries over what the noblewoman will have him do. What if she wanted him to act as her lover till night?<\/p>\n Hong Shim\u2019s house gets trashed shortly after dismissing the thought about Won Deuk\u2019s task. The person behind the trashing is suspected to be Park Sun Do again. He seemed unhappy with how Hong Shim dares bring wild ginseng as the offering to the king instead of the demanded Sabre fur.
