Finally we come to the end of the series. The last episode tied everything up creatively! This episode was, scene by scene, moving backwards in time. Insignificant but memorable plot-, character- and relationship-building moments of the series pop up in reverse order until finally the end scene finished up with a moment looking like a moment in the opening scene with situations and circumstances flipped positive than problematic.<\/p>\n

Ding Jia Yu<\/em>‘s loneliness: texts from Chen Liang Liang<\/em> and Co., Dean and Qi Yi<\/em> finally has her come out of locking herself in her apartment. Ding Jia Yu<\/em> gets in touch with Jerry<\/em>: Jerry<\/em> replies he is in America, but is now back in Taiwan and outside her door with roses and information that gives Ding Jia Yu<\/em> a new perspective on things. Qi Yi<\/em>‘s father waiting to meet up and catch his wife who he has not seen for twenty or so years: Qi Yi<\/em>‘s mother and father are catching up and filling each other in on each other’s lives that they’ve missed in the twenty or so years they’ve been apart.<\/p>\n Towards the middle now. Li Han Bo’s resignation to pursue his dreams: he returns to GAZE<\/em> as its new CEO and his first task is to take down the office romance ban. Chen Liang Liang<\/em> unknowingly puckers up at Qi Yi<\/em>‘s intense gaze on her: Chen Liang Liang<\/em> puckers up for a kiss after Qi Yi<\/em> catches her from falling and they have a moment. Dean’s interest in Chen Liang Liang<\/em>: he demands a kiss on the cheek from Chen Liang Liang<\/em> in exchange for information on where he hid the items she is looking after. Chen Liang Liang<\/em> tells Qi Yi<\/em> she likes and cares about him: Qi Yi<\/em> tells Chen Liang Liang<\/em> he has already fallen in love with her.<\/p>\n Almost back at the beginning now. Alex<\/em>‘s failed proposal to Kate<\/em>: Alex<\/em> and Kate<\/em> are at the alter and exchanging vows and rings. Li Han Bo’s one-sided like towards Shi Cui Xia<\/em>: he proposes to her and she accepts. Qi Yi<\/em> sets up house rules for Chen Liang Liang<\/em>: Qi Yi<\/em>‘s mother is the new head of the house and she sets up house rules for Chen Liang Liang<\/em>. Qi Yi<\/em> is in the home belonging to his broken family, looking to piece back his family and he finds all flowers to wilt: he has his family back in their family home and has found new family members of Chen Liang Liang<\/em> and Ming Ming, the cute goldfish. Qi Yi<\/em> is the owner of the house and wants Chen Liang Liang<\/em> to move out: Qi Yi<\/em> is moving into Chen Liang Liang<\/em>‘s room, deciding to make Chen Liang Liang<\/em>‘s room his room, too, and they make out.<\/p>\n We’re right at the start of the series now, a few scenes in. Kate<\/em> disconnects her call to Chen Liang Liang<\/em> after the conversation between Chen Liang Liang<\/em> and an unknown male voice becomes strangely private: Kate<\/em> disconnects her call to Chen Liang Liang<\/em> after hearing Chen Liang Liang<\/em> challenging Qi Yi<\/em> to ‘bring it on’ when Qi Yi<\/em> traps her between him and the bed.<\/p>\n And finally we come to the end of the series with the memorable moment that was at the beginning of the series. Chen Liang Liang<\/em> accidentally exposes her naked body to Qi Yi<\/em>: this time this is no accident with Chen Liang Liang<\/em>‘s top flung from under the covers to the floor.<\/p>\n What is also like the beginning is Qi Yi<\/em> working at Hua Lian<\/em>. Working at Hua Lian<\/em> is the time and place where Qi Yi<\/em>‘s negative view on relationships began to take form and he struggled to focus at work. Now, back at Hua Lian<\/em>, he is successful, happily engaged (to Chen Liang Liang<\/em>) and working at Hua Lian<\/em> as Director of Hua Lian<\/em>‘s newly acquired company, GAZE<\/em>.<\/p>\n That office romance ban notice, when Li Han Bo was just an employee of GAZE<\/em>, he wanted to be the one to take it down and had tried threatening Qi Yi<\/em> with revealing Qi Yi<\/em>‘s living arrangements with Chen Liang Liang<\/em> to do so, but he failed. So who better to do it than Li Han Bo<\/em>, the new CEO of GAZE<\/em>?! He returns back to GAZE<\/em> in his awesome new position as CEO and rips it up into little pieces in front of GAZE<\/em>‘s former boss, Qi Yi<\/em>\u2014who is wincing at seeing his… well… treasured item being ferociously torn and destroyed\u2014because Li Han Bo is the boss and he can! This scene, along with Li Han Bo being introduced as the new CEO of GAZE<\/em> were our favourite scenes of the episode!<\/p>\n We enjoyed the final episode a lot!
