This 30-second animation was an assignment given after a six week module in a multimedia design course. The brief was to make an animation to advertise chocolates of a fictitious company called, "Destiny".

The brief required me to follow several things: it must include at least three elements of animation, to be exactly thirty seconds, the theme colours must be red and yellow, and because Destiny chocolates has a New Zealand and Irish heritage, there must be objects in the animation that represented New Zealand and Ireland.

The storyline that I had chosen to sell Destiny chocolates was that the chocolates were traditional and romantic, and they were lover's chocolates. Piano music was used to provide such atmosphere—it was to create a soft and relaxed atmosphere in a 1930s setting. From a window, the scene begins from outside looking into the interiors of a living room with birds chirping in the background. Passing a set of curtains moving against light wind, the viewer is guided to look around before one is taken to the product sitting on a writing desk.
