The U.S.S. Voyager crew was only a mission to find the Maquis renegade fighter, Liberty, but when they were catapulted 75,000 light-years from home, their mission is no longer to find the Maquis fighter but a mission to get back to the Alpha Quadrant to Earth.

It took seven years in an unknown part of space, many encounters with hostile alien species, and time paradoxes before the crew finally reunites with family and friends back on Earth.
